Strategy:
A congratulatory letter can often be quite a
tricky letter to write. We must take care it does not sound either
patronizing or bitter . The best way to approach it is simply to acknowledge
their promotion, congratulate them on it and wish them
well for the future.
Aim to write a plain, straightforward the
letter that cannot be misinterpreted or viewed in any way other
than a genuine statement of congratulations. Follow the direct
