Strategy:
Complaint letters can be difficult to write.
You want to persuade the recipient of the letter to take immediate
action to solve your problem and yet you want to do it without
giving unnecessary offence.
Stage One:
Open the letter by acknowledging receipt of
your monthly statement and then immediately add that you want to
draw their attention to inaccuracies within it
Stage Two:
Now politely and as diplomatically as
possible state your complaint.
Stage Three:
End by detailing the specific action you
want them to take.
